about
The inspiration for this song was sparked randomly opening a page of the book The Prodigal Daughter by Jeffrey Archer. And the rest, as they say, is history. The band Big Business formed at Tune Builders in the summer of 2021 and wrote, recorded and performed it in a matter of 4 days on the first week of August.
Magic was made.
All profits from purchases of this track go toward Tune Builders bursary program.
Quotes from the week:
"By the way is it raining?" - Matias
"Crap, I messed up again" - Matias
"That wasn't the final take was it???" - Matias
lyrics
You do realize he’s in love with you don’t you?
It’s been a long time coming though its True
We’ve both known for sometime now
But I’m the lover you need, No doubt
you’ve been in Denial so I feel blue
I want you
I want you
I want you to tell the truth
because I really really want to know now
because I really wanna know know know
I want you
I want you
I want you to tell the truth
because I really wanna to know know know now
because I really wanna know
Don’t try— to tell me lies I won’t listen to you
Just tell me this is something you want to get through
I would run — a hundred miles
If I knew that I could trust your smile
But Just come —- on and tell me the ——whole truth
